With the holidays behind us and a new year underway, we've begun the 2026 travel planning season in earnest. Italy continues to top the list as our most requested destination. Venice, Florence, and Rome are always beloved, but we have a number of clients exploring the Amalfi Coast, Naples, and Sicily. As always, our team is ready to plan travel wherever your dreams take you.
Toward the end of his life, St. Francis of Assisi — Italy's patron saint — offered these words: "
Let us begin again, for until now we have done nothing." I think it's an excellent sentiment for travel in the new year. This year marks the 800th anniversary of his death, and for the first time in 50 years, Italy has restored the Feast of St. Francis on October 4 as a national holiday.
I invite you to read my latest
trip blog, where I share our adventures hiking through Tuscany and Umbria, following in the footsteps of St. Francis of Assisi.
